Korbinator

I love this little man. He has been so affectionate lately and I just don't know how I got so lucky to have such a loving little guy like him. These pictures were taken a little while ago (back when he would actually wear his sunglasses) but they are some of my favorites of him. I enjoy the fact that they hover and float off to the side of his nose.

I'll Be Back...

Memory Tag

Here are the directions:

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I have had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember.

2. Next, repost these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It is actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

Nielsen's Grove

We are very lucky to live near parks. We have one right in our own backyard, one across the street and a beautiful park called Nielsen's Grove just a few blocks away. We have gone there a few times now to enjoy this great park. On Sunday we went to Nielsen's Grove to feed the ducks and play.

My little brother Jared

There were three baby ducks (I only caught one). They were fun to watch. Two of the ducks stayed very close to the mama duck but one wandered off and did his own thing. My mom said "see that little duck way over there, his name is Tucker." I have a feeling his name may have been Korbin instead.

I'm Proud to Be an American

Ok, these posts are out of order but at least I am doing it. This is part of our Independence Day celebration (which lasted 2 fabulous days).

Here is Korbin watching The Stadium of Fire fireworks and playing with the glow stick necklace Tucker made for me. The camera was on a weird setting but it made for some cool pictures.

My two cute boys sharing a piece of licorice.

The fireworks were beautiful. We are definitely proud to be Americans and are so grateful for our freedom and the men and women who have sacrificed their time and lives for us.

This is the second day of our celebration. My sister Carolyn and her family had a family reunion on the 4th with her husband's family so we got together on the 5th. Parker and Korbin had fun playing in the kiddie pool and going down the slide. After swimming we just hung out and BBQ'd. After dinner Tucker let off his arsenal of fireworks and we all oohed and ahhed.

These Legs Were Made for Walking....

When I look at him walking it is surreal. He seems too little to be upright and mobile all on his own.

We Have Lift Off

Korbin is walking!!! He started taking a few steps last week, but on Sunday he walked the length of the living room (making him officially walking at 10 months old). Since then he has been a walking machine. I can't believe that my baby isn't a baby anymore. He is 11 months old today. Only a month left before he turns one; so sad, and yet so exciting at the same time. He is such a big boy and he is so much fun now. He has his own personality and I love to watch it develop as he grows. He likes to honk noses, tease people and if hears someone cough, burp or sneeze he does a little sympathy cough. At least he still lets me cuddle with him after he drinks his bottle, I cherish our snuggle time. I have a video of him walking and I will get it up as soon as I can.
